The airport is located inside the city perimeter, north of Quito.

Transfer Between Terminals
The airport has two terminals linked by a pedestrian walkway.

Driving Directions
To get to the airport from the city, take 10 de Agosto Avenue as far as Amazonas Avenue. From any other location outside the city, take highway Panamericana to 10 de Agosto Avenue and then Amazonas Avenue.

Car Parking
The airport has 300 parking spaces for long and short term parking.

Car Hire
There are several car rental companies at the airport including Avis, Budget and Localiza.

Public Transport
Road: Taxi: Taxis are readily available from outside the terminals and operate fixed-rate fares to various zones in the local area. For other city authorized taxis, it is advised to request the driver to turn on the taximeter to calculate the fare. Bus: From the airport there are several buses lines together with Trolebus (1 800 876532) and Ecovía Services. They run through the city and downtown. The 'Metrobus- Q' systems have an integrated and differentiate services which offer a special rate for senior citizens and disabled users. These buses run through America Avenue, Prensa, Diego de Vasquez and Amazonas Avenue. Major hotels run shuttle vans from the airport.

Information and Help Desks
There are two information booths located inside the airport. One at the international departure (service hours: 0430-0100) and the other at the domestic departure (service hours: 0500-2000). The airport has bilingual customer service personnel. The booth for tourist information from Metropolitan Tourism Corporation is located at the international arrival.

Airport Facilities
Money and communications: The airport has four US currency cash dispensers (ATMs) located at the domestic terminal and they accept all major credit cards. A bureau de change is located in the international departure hall. Telephone booths are available in the international departure hall and they accept coins and credit cards. Eating and drinking: Restaurants and cafeterias are available in both terminals. Shopping: The airport has a commercial area with a wide range of shops and duty-free shops. Luggage: Baggage carts are available in the baggage reclaim area of the international arrival terminal. Other facilities: Medical and emergency service.

Conference and Business Facilities
There are no meeting or conference rooms available at the airport. However there is a VIP lounge available to all passengers for a fee (cash or credit card payment). Many of the airlines grant their first class passengers free access to the VIP lounge. The lounge is open from 0400 to 0130.

Facilities for Disabled Travelers
The facilities for disabled travelers include ramped access and lifts, adapted toilets and parking spaces. Wheelchairs are available on request from individual airlines; passengers should inform their airline prior to travel.
