Nightlife:

The nightlife in Phnom Penh is pretty vibrant and there are a large number of bars from which to choose. There are only a couple of live music venues, although some of the international hotels have bands from the Philippines. DJs generally only perform at the weekend. Most nightlife happens along Sisowath Quay, on Street 104 and also on Street 51 between Streets 174 and 154.

Bars: The Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Cambodia, Sisowath Quay (website: www.fcccambodia.com) is a popular hangout with journalists, diplomats, travelers and the occasional movie star; the trendy Salt Lounge, 217 Street 136 (website: www.thesaltlounge.com) is also popular with expats and tourists. Other good options include Elsewhere, 175 Street 51 (corner Street 254) and Rubies, 13 Street 240.

Clubs: Heart of Darkness, 26 Street 51 and Cambodia Club, 359 Sisowath Quay, are both well established venues.

Live Music: Memphis Pub, 3 Street 118, has live music most night, and Riverside Bistro, 273a Sisowath Quay, corner Street 148 (website: www.riverside.curvedspaces.com) also features bands at the weekend.
