    International Travel:

    Getting There by Air
    The national airline is Air Canada. Air Canada Jazz offers inter-provincial flights to Montréal, Halifax, Toronto and Bathurst (more limited service) from Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton. Corsair flies to Paris from Moncton and other international connections can often be made via Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    Main Airports
    Main airports: Greater Moncton Airport (YQM) (website: www.gma.ca). To/from the airport: Car hire is available. Facilities: Foodcourt, ATM and seafood shop.

    Fredericton (YFC) (website: www.frederictonairport.ca). To/from the airport: Taxis and are available from the terminal. Facilities: Restaurant, car hire, gift shop and ATMs.

    Saint John Airport (YSJ) (website: www.saintjohnairport.com). To/from the airport: Taxis are available from the terminal. Facilities: Restaurant, car hire and car parking.

    Getting There by Water
    Ferries run from Nova Scotia to Saint John, from Maine to the Fundy Islands and from Québec to Dalhousie near Campbellton. The Confederation Bridge connects Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick with Borden-Carleton, Prince Edward Island. It is 13km (8 miles) long, takes approximately 10 minutes to cross and is open 24 hours a day. A toll is payable on return over the bridge only (tel: 888 437 6565). Ferry services no longer operate on this route. There is a full coastal ferry service between all ports in New Brunswick.     Getting There by Rail
    VIA Rail runs from Montréal to Halifax, certain times via Mont Joli and via Saint John.

    Getting There by Road
    The Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) follows the St John River Valley from Edmundston in the north to Moncton in the east, with the majority of the highways branching off it. There are over 16,000km (10,000 miles) of roads in the province.
