Day 01: Queenstown, New Zealand
Arrive Queenstown and transfer to your accommodation. The Heritage Hotel

Day 02: Milford Sound
Depart your hotel early today and travel through some of the most beautiful countryside in New Zealand. On arrival at Milford Sound, board the vessel for a leisurely cruise along the sound to the Tasman Sea. The vessel stops at various points and plenty of time is available to view waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and seals. You may even see dolphins frolic alongside the boat. A buffet lunch is included during the cruise. Arrive back at the wharf around 1:45PM, afternoon coach transfer to Queenstown. The Heritage Hotel (B,L)

Day 03: Glenorchy
Transfer by coach to Glenorchy and the mouth of the Dart River where you will board the 18 foot specially prepared jet boat and thread the way through a maze of channels between river flats in only inches of water. Your driver/guide shares his knowledge and explains all about the area, then pulls into a bank so that you may explore the area by foot. The balance of your day is at leisure in Queenstown. Day 05: Franz Joseph Glacier
Board an Inter City bus to Franz Josef Glacier. Sit back, relax and take in the spectacular scenery of Kawarau Gorge, Lake Hawera, Haast Pass and Fox Glacier. Your home for the next two evenings will be the Franz Josef Glacier Hotel, located on the outskirts of Westland National Park. The hotel enjoys spectacular views of the Alps, Glaciers and sub-tropical rainforest. Franz Josef Glacier Hotel (B)

Day 06: Franz Joseph
Today is at leisure. Optional extra is a Helicopter Flight to the Glaciers featuring a 30-minute flight include landing at the head of the Franz Josef Glacier, snow landing or icefall landing. Franz Josef Glacier Hotel (B)

Day 07: Christchurch
Board a point-to-point service with Inter City this morning to Greymouth. In Greymouth, you will board the Trans Alpine Train for one of the most beautiful journey's in New Zealand. As you board the train at Greymouth you say farewell to the glacier country and travel through the rugged mountains of the Southern Alps to the Canterbury Plains and on into Christchurch. You will be picked-up and transferred to your accommodation for the next three nights. Your hotel is a short walk to Hagley Park, with its gardens, sports field & Golf course, and the Botanical Gardens, Arts Center and Museum. The George Hotel (B)

Day 08: Christchurch
Today you will visit Akaroa. On this amazing tour, visit the extinct volcanoes of Banks Peninsula and view the beautiful harbors & green farmland. Enjoy photo stops at scenic places and include morning & afternoon teas and a cheese tasting at the Barry's Bay Cheese Factory. Once at Akaroa, embark on a nature and harbor cruise on the Canterbury Cat. Explore the volcanic harbor and sightings may be made of the world's smallest dolphin - the Hectors Dolphin, NZ Fur Seals and numerous seabirds. If time allows, stroll through the village and along the waterfront, taking in quaint French charm that is unique to Akaroa. The George Hotel (B)

Day 09: Christchurch
Discover Christchurch today with a 3-hour tour covering the central city highlights, including Cathedral Square, Victoria Square, Thomas Edmonds former band rotunda and the Avon River. See also Town Hall, the floral clock, Law Courts, Botanical Gardens, Arts Center, Worcester Boulevard and the Bridge of Remembrance. On leaving the city, travel around Hagely Park to the Mona Vale homestead and gardens. From Mona Vale, cross town towards the Port Hills viewing the Catholic Cathedral on our way to the hillside suburbs. From Mt. Pleasant, enjoy the city and beach views, then continue to the seaside suburb of Sumner for a stop of Cave Rock. Return via the Lyttelton tunnel and travel back to the city center via the Eastern suburbs. The George Hotel (B)
