Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1-2: - Boston & Green Mountains
As we travel west out of Boston, the classic New England villages and churches define the landscape, with quiet back-roads leading to spectacular panoramic views of mountaintops, forests and lakes. Continue into Vermont's Green Mountains for some wonderful opportunities to get close to nature. Spend time on a hike along the Appalachian Trail, rent bikes or take a ride on horseback through the rolling mountain ranges. Sample some of the delicious local favorites at nearby "farmer's markets" and historic breweries. Top off the wonderful days in a relaxing and comfortable lodge situated at the foothills of the Green Mountains.
Accommodation: Hotel/Cabin included

Day 3-4: - White Mountains
Leaving the Green Mountains behind, we travel into New Hampshire to the White Mountains, the backbone of the northern Appalachians. As the name suggests, many of the nature-hiking trails here are above the timberline and offer stunning views of the surrounding area. The included cog railway takes travelers to the top of Mount Washington, the tallest peak in the northeast. In nearby Franconia Notch State Park, walk through the renowned Flume Gorge, hike along the Appalachian Trail or stop for a swim at Echo Lake. The options are abundant throughout this section of New Hampshire's famous mountains.
Accommodation: Hotel/Cabin included

Day 6-7: - Acadia National Park
The journey continues to Acadia National Park, the only National Park in New England. This park was set aside for its captivating scenery, rocky coastline and boulder-strewn mountaintops. Get an early start and travel the short distance to Cadillac Mountain, the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard and one of the first places to view the sunrise in the United States. Choose from multiple activities such as sea kayaking, horseback riding, bicycle riding, beach combing, whale watching (in season) and sunset sailboat cruises. The nearby town of Bar Harbor offers nightlife and shopping opportunities; and don't miss out on the freshest lobster bakes around! With three nights in this region there is plenty of time to do it all!
Accommodation: Hotel/Cabin included

Day 8: - Boston
Returning to the historic city of Boston our adventure comes to an end.

Tour ends at 18:00 hrs in Boston on day 8.
