Tour Overview
The G.A.P Adventurer III, our third Original Class yacht, is a modern, air-conditioned 65-foot motor vessel with a capacity of 16 passengers. Spacious cabins feature a window, upper and lower berths and private bath. A staff of 8 includes a certified naturalist guide, ensuring you are in good hands both onboard and on land. Recently refurbished, the ship also features a cozy bar, small library and a dining room.

Day 1 Arrive Quito
Arrive in Quito at any time.

Day 2 Baltra/North Seymour(L, D)
Transfer early to the airport for our flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival in Baltra, we will meet our naturalist guide, who will assist with the transfer to the G.A.P Adventurer III.

Day 3 Rabida / Puerto Egas (B, L, D)
Cruise to Rabida Island in the morning and visit a salt water lagoon rich in wildlife and vegetation. A large sea lions colony provides great photo opportunities. Spend the afternoon visiting the lava rock beaches Puerto Egas is known for.

Day 4 Sombrero Chino / Bartolomé (B, L, D)
This morning we visit Sombrero Chino, located on Isla Santa Cruz. Arrive at Bartolomé Island in the afternoon. Learn the geological history of Bartolomé as our naturalist explains its dramatic volcanic features, including unusual splatter cones. We may spot rare Galapagos penguins, of which only 800 pairs exist.

Day 5 Santa Fé / South Plaza (B, L, D)
Set sail for the island of Santa Fé. Also called Barrington, Santa Fé Island is well-known as a great place for watching (and swimming with) sea lions. Spend the afternoon in South Plaza Island. One of the smallest islands in the Galapagos, South Plaza has one of the largest populations of Land Iguanas. Walk along a path through a cactus forest and view a combination of dry and coastal vegetation.

Day 6 Santa Cruz (B)
The morning finds us in Puerto Ayora, on Santa Cruz Island. Visit the Charles Darwin Station, see giant tortoises and learn about Charles Darwin's studies of Galapagos wildlife. From there transfer to the airport on Baltra for our flight back to Quito. Spend one more night with our friends in the historic capitol city.

Day 7 Depart Quito
